Brightwayz runs lots of projects to promote active travel but we also get involved with many community activities. One of the recent activities is supporting a repair cafe in Kettering.
The Repair Cafe has been going about a year now and brings together a number of individuals and organisations who seek to help reduce landfill by repairing items so they are thrown away.
Brightwayz supports this by offering free cycle repairs on the day.
This is one of the activities we put on to further our mission to get more people cycling.
In addition to this we also accept donations of bikes and do them up to give to those in need or sell them to generate more income.
We love to see the difference a bike can make to someone’s life. For many people having a car is not possible.
We have helped refugees get cycle training and a bike so they can get about.
